SMD (Surface-Mounted Device) refers to SMD LED light sources (surface-mounted LEDs). It is currently one of the most common LED packaging forms used in outdoor street lighting. In this design, LED chips are directly mounted onto the surface of a PCB (printed circuit board) and secured and electrically connected through processes such as reflow soldering.
